Supply Chain Concentration

tgg removes the complexity out of suppliers, retailers, distributors, and customers and can help you focus on the key levers to controlling right inventory ad the right time at the right place.

How do we schedule the plant?  It doesn’t take much observation to see how the mix can make or break the profit a work-center can produce.

Is there a better and more methodical way to schedule?  How much raw material components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods should we warehouse?  Where should this inventory be stored?  How do we prepare for overseas holidays and customs delays? The answer to all of these questions are discussed in the supply chain concentration training class.

At tgg we use the terms ‘runner,’ ‘repeater,’ and ‘stranger’ and we define these using statistics on shipped demand.  We create statistical bins that are customized uniquely to your historical shipped demand.  These (3) criteria can then be loaded into your ERP systems and dramatically help your CSR’s make decisions on what promises to make to customers; even when it makes good financial sense to promise a customer that you can break into the schedule to produce their request.

Almost every industry is dealing with new competitors, changing customer needs, supply chain constraints, and a myriad of other issues.  And in today’s market, you need to have a strategy that is based on statistics.

We would encourage you to bring your own dataset to class so that  you can leave class with working solutions to your facilities challenges.
