Craft a magnetic headline.

A great headline is your only chance to make a first impression on your reader.  Make sure is promises a benefit

Open with a bang. Deliver the unique problem statement

Your first few sentences must capture the reader's imagination and pull them deeper into your content.

Use persuasive words. Be authentic.

Power words hold more sway over out decision making process than other.  Understand why your chosen words are persuasive and use them in the context that make sense for your audience.

Write good sentences.

Your sentences don't have to be long; they just have to say the right things.

Insert killer bullet points.

Bullet points keep people reading your blog.  Keep them short and to the point.  You need bullet point to keep your post readable.  They must combine brevity and promise

Create exquisite subheads.

Large blocks of text are inherently unfriendly to a reader's attention span.  Subheads are mini-headlines that spell out a specific benefit to "sell" the reader on continuing to read

Tell a seductive story.

A good novel, movie, or TV series begins with a conflict, then amplifies that conflict so that life become miserable, and eventually ends with a satisfying resolution.

Choose an arresting image or graphic

Photograph: Make sure your images  make an impact to the viewer upon seeing it the first time.  The viewer’s eye should be drawn naturally to the subject of the image.  Remember that there is nothing worse than a brilliant image of a fuzzy concept.

Chart:  Charts and graphs are an amazing visual tool to explain a concept to an audience. Since many people are more visual, seeing a graph or chart that represents the information can help people visualize the concept.  Make your charts attractive with accurate information, make them incredibly simple. Design them without clutter or non-value added chart junk.  Less ink is more.

Close with style.

Your close must call the reader to action.  What can they immediately do to use this information.  Tell them where to go to get more information. Leave a link directing them to next steps.
